      Sub:- Exploitation of Labour-Nagapattinam Division-reg.

      It is brought to the notice of this union that more than 120 SGB applications in r/o 2017-2018 Ist sales have been received at Nagapattinam HO. The actual working strength of the HO as on date is only as against the Sanctioned Strength of 21. The day to day work itself is being completed with much difficulty by thrusting undue excess work load on the shoulders of available staff on duty. In these circumstances it is learnt that SPOs, Nagapattinam has refused to provide additional man power to upload the SGB applications in software and also ordered that the Postmaster has to get the work extracted/completed immediately. This union wishes to point out that it is a clear case of exploitation of labour. Hence it is requested that the matter may please be taken as with RO,Trichy to cause attach additional man power specifically for SGB work so as to avoid delay & error in uploading besides avoiding exploitation of labour.

      Nature of action taken may please be initiated.
